Review On Spice Brasserie Buffet Lunch (Park Royal Kitchener Road)

This Is My First Actual Food Review Although I've Posted Like Tonnes And Tonnes Of Food Photos On My Blog. I Will Leave A Link For Future Food Reviews Probably At The Right Side Of My Blog For Easier Navigation Since This Is My Personal Blog As Well.

I Actually Did Not Had High Expectations For This One Because So Far The Buffets I've Been To Which Are Located In Hotels Are Usually Over-Price And Their Hefty Price Do Not Justify The Quality And Variety Of Food They Serve. Example: Melting Pot Cafe And Tiffany Cafe And Restaurant.

The Most Important Thing I Think Of When I Taste Food Is Freshness. How Fresh Is The Sashimi? I Think That's Really Important Because We Usually Attack The Raw Food First And They Can Affect Our Appetite. Spice Brasserie Definitely Had Fresh Food Salmon, Octopus, Clams, Mussels Etc. The Variety Of Sashimi Was Limited Though. (No Oysters Etc.)

Another Thing I Noticed Is That They Actually Had Chefs BBQ-ing Authentic Satays On The Spot For You. Upon Request, They Can Cook You Their Signature Teochew Porridge Or Piping Hot Laksa. Though It Took Like About 20-30 Mins Before It's Done And It's Self-Service, The Taste Sure Made Up For The Slightly Longer Wait.

And Yet Another Thing That Makes This Buffet So Unique: It Encourages Healthy Eating. It Has A Salad Bar Where You Can Make Your Own DIY Salad And There Is Also A Large Variety Of Fruits Served. Eat Good, Eat Healthy.

Needless To Say, To End Of The Buffet, We Had Our Desserts. The Cheesecakes Were Especially Yummy (The Rest Were Good As Well). They Also Offered D24 Durian Pengat Which Is Extremely Delicious (If You Are A Durian Lover). The Ice Cream Was Not Bad Too And There Are Eight Different Toppings For You To Be Creative!

Price Of Lunch  : $38++
Price Of Dinner : $48++
Currently There Is A UOB 1 For 1 Promotion, Sunday To Wednesday Only. (Till 10 December 2014)

I Would Definitely Recommend Those Who Have Not Been To This Buffet To Give It A Try Because At About $22 Per Person (After ++ With 1 For 1), I Think You Can't Find A Buffet With Better Value Other Than This Place.

*Thumbs Up*
